JTPM – EOFY team reflection
It’s been an exciting and rewarding 6 months at JTPM!
We’ve delivered 40 events (6 virtual, 3 hybrid, and 31 in-person) including:
- ICSEI Congress in Melbourne and ADRF Conference in Perth
- the University of Melbourne’s graduate careers fair and student showcase
- industry breakfasts and lunches for NorthLink and UDIA Victoria
- and a truly memorable fundraising Gala for Vietnamese Museum Australia.
And so far, there’s another 36 events (1 virtual, 1 hybrid, and 34 in-person) locked in for the second half of the year including:
- the inaugural FRMEFEST 2025 presented with Canon Australia at the iconic Carriageworks, Sydney
- the bi-annual National Multicultural Health & Wellbeing Conference (NMHWC) in partnership with VicHealth
- and our fifth consecutive ANZMAC Conference back in Sydney to finish the year.
To mark the end of the financial year (EOFY) and prepare for these busy months ahead, we asked the team to reflect on their biggest wins, key learnings, and favourite event of 2025, so far…
Flexibility and teamwork are the key ingredients
OK, so we couldn’t really agree on a favourite event, but what we did agree on was the unpredictable nature of event production, and the importance of teamwork and staying calm under pressure!
Our Event Manager, Chloe, summed it up perfectly:
Having a fun, supportive, and adaptable team onsite is also essential to surviving the ups and downs of event delivery. “No challenge felt too hard because we were constantly backing each other, problem-solving together, and keeping a great attitude throughout,” Chloe added.
One great example of the team’s flexibility, according to our CEO, Simon Coburn, was when a client requested their three-day Conference be live streamed, with only a few days’ notice!
“The team immediately sat down and mapped out the necessary cameras, audio, and presentation slides, before meeting with the onsite AV provider to ensure seamless integration with their equipment and processes. The livestream pages were built in record time (in one day!) and our ability to act fast and decisively resulted in a great outcome for both the client and online attendees,” Simon explained.
