JTPM 2025 Year in Review

As we wrap up and reflect on the year, we want to take a moment to share our condolences and support for the Jewish community, and to all Australians who have lost loved ones and been affected by the horrific attack at what should have been a joyous community event at Bondi Beach on 14 December.

As event producers who work with several multicultural organisations, we know this act of terrorism and anti-semitic violence may have an impact on our gatherings in future, but we will not let this divide and fill us with fear.

While we are all still coming to terms with this tragedy, it has only strengthened and reaffirmed our commitment to providing inclusive spaces for people of all backgrounds and beliefs to come together and feel welcome, respected and safe.

A letter to our future selves…

Last week, we brought the team together for a development and planning day. One of the day’s activities was to reflect on our values and how JTPM events help foster belonging, participation and meaningful connection.

The collective storytelling exercise gathered individual contributions from each team member, and we used AI to help collate and transform our responses into a letter or manifesto, addressed to future JTPM employees and clients. Here’s the result:

2025 Event Production Highlights:

2025 was the first year that was entirely led and managed by our CEO, Simon and Manager, Emily and they have absolutely smashed it! We produced a whopping 82 events for 29 clients, across seven (7) major cities including:

  • 20 conferences, summits and forums
  • 21 education and training events
  • 15 awards and gala’s
  • 11 exhibitions
  • 7 business networking events
  • And many others.

Bringing people together in-person remains the most popular event format, as we produced 66 face-to-face events, 16 hybrid and virtual events this year. In today’s tech dominated world, people are seeking more personalised and engaging connections. However, it’s not always easy or possible to run in-person events so ensuring we have as many opportunities for connection in our online and hybrid offering is even more important, and something we pride ourselves on.

While we love working with all of our clients equally, we got to spend some extra time with a handful of great brands, as we produced multiple events together throughout the year. Some of these included:

  • 20 events for the University of Melbourne
  • 8 events for UDIA Victoria
  • 6 events for NorthLink
  • 6 events for Oz Feline Fair (a new client this year!)
  • 5 events for Port of Melbourne
  • 4 events for Philanthropy Australia

Stepping into the spotlight…

This year, JTPM shone in the limelight and showcased our brand and services for the first time. We sponsored and hosted a number of industry and private events including:

1. Events Uncovered: Australia’s premier events industry expo was a great opportunity to connect with new and existing suppliers, gain insights into the latest trends, products and services, and find inspiration.

As a sponsor and exhibitor, we showed off all of our Future Events Lab management platform features including event app, ticketing system, digital maps, speaker and exhibitor management and lots more.

We enjoyed some incredible conversations, made lots of new contacts, met up with colleagues, and gave away lots of fun freebies and prizes.

2. University of Melbourne Professional Staff Conference: to celebrate 10 years in partnership with the University of Melbourne, JTPM sponsored their annual Professional Staff Conference. In addition to showcasing our event production offerings to new departments, our Founder Julia also featured as a plenary speaker and panel member on the day, sharing the JTPM story, insights and tips.

Over the years, we have produced hundreds of events for 15+ UoM departments/ schools including major exhibitions, careers fairs, symposiums, conferences, public lectures, open days and more.

Sponsoring this event has strengthened our partnership and paved the way for another decade of delivering successful and engaging events together.

3. JT. Presents: The Future of Events: designed to bring our clients, partners and community together, the goal was to share our vision for where the events industry is heading and our philosophy of doing “good business”.

The event was also an opportunity to showcase the full range of JTPM event services including:

  • Future Events Lab – ticketing, registration and event app technology
  • Creative services – photography, videography, AV, animated graphics and live streaming
  • JT. Travel Group – accommodation and travel management
  • JT. Curation – bespoke scent experiences with essential oils
  • Elevate by JT. – personal and professional branding, PR, marketing and social media.

More than 120 guests joined us and we were thrilled by the conversations it sparked. We are excited to continue shaping the future of events together!

4. The Business of Events Roadshow: this six-city roadshow saw our Directors, Victor and Julia share their expertise in how to design events that meet business goals, build community and bring a creative vision to life.

Starting in Ho Chi Minh City, before heading to Tokyo, Dubai, Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane, these intimate lunch and dinner events showed attendees, step by step, how to create an event that makes a real impact!

We loved the stories, energy and openness – everyone came ready to learn, share and grow. There may be more sessions in 2026 so stay tuned!

Phew – that was a lot, and there’s so much more… too much for one blog!
