Case Study – FRMEFEST 2025

|

From the moment we heard the FRMEFEST vision and idea, we knew we wanted to be part of the team that would help bring it to life.

Designed to unite an industry of photographers, videographers and content creators for the first time, FRMEFEST 2025 presented with Canon Australia was a bold and innovative idea!

Our Directors, Julia and Victor jumped on board as FRMEFEST co-founders, embarking on a two year journey that saw the whole JTPM team deeply involved in every element from ideation to delivery.

Over two-days FRMEFEST invited attendees to explore cutting-edge technology from the world’s biggest brands (plus lots of small and new ones!), discover the latest trends and game-changing insights from industry leaders and inspiring speakers, and have the opportunity to experiment, learn new skills and refine their craft across a range of dynamic and engaging live sets and activations.

Catering for creators of all experience levels from seasoned professionals to enthusiasts, the goal was to create a dedicated space for visual creators to connect, share knowledge, collaborate and push the boundaries of their craft. And it worked!

FRMEFEST 2025 was the biggest celebration and gathering of photographers, videographers, filmmakers, cinematographers, content creators, digital producers and other creatives, helping to elevate the industry as a whole, spark creativity, drive innovation and fuel the dreams and ambitions of both current and future visual storytellers.

Here’s the lowdown of how it all happened!

Venue/ Layout:

A historic railway workshop, featuring exposed brickwork, metal beams and cool warehouse vibes, located in the heart of the city, Carriageworks, Sydney was our first choice for this event.

Known as one of Australia’s most significant creative industry hubs, Carriageworks gave us plenty of space to set up the various elements and cater to the large audience size. It also provided the perfect aesthetic to suit the FRMEFEST brand.

Event Features:

  • Main Stage: this was the main focal point of the event, where event announcements, key speaker sessions and panel discussions were scheduled. We provided seating for 200 people and there was rarely a chair to spare!
